Celebrating 90 Years of Service in 2011-12!
The Springfield Host Lions Club is the third oldest club in Missouri. Chartered September 7, 1921, as the Springfield Lions Club.
We currently hosts an annual Picnic and a Christmas Party for the Blind; purchase eyeglasses for qualifying individuals; collect used eye classes and used hearing aids for recycling. and sponsor the History Walk at Nathanael Greene Park honoring "Americans Who Made a Difference:". Since its start the Springfield Host Lions Club has sponsored ten new clubs.
